I am happy to say that I have managed to find an old version of the original CaveFights source code! It is horribly buggy but at the very least I can extract some good parts from it. The discovery of the files has allowed me to push forward the current update schedule and we might just get 0.0.5 this week for CaveFights! Within those files I have managed to find everyone's favorite gun sound also so expect that in the next update! Stay tuned for more information.

So it has been a crazy rough ride for the myself and Deven. We started working on this game back in 2016 when we were at the end of middle school and got distracted with life through out highschool. Now we are both in college and I will be trying to revise the game once again. I lost lots of my work due to not making good backups so I had to recreate the game from scratch more or less. There is an update download link on the websites CaveFights section so go ahead and play the game and tell us how you like (or hate) it. Thank you so much everyone.

MarsGames has just released its newest and worst title ever... Money Clocker!!!!!! Everything wins and a lot of people hate so we did anyway. Also, everything is really really overrated and exaggerated in this post.
To all of the people who actually care about CaveFights (if there is any) the CaveFights team is very sorry for not posting updates for the game and not keeping you guys updated on the blog. Game Maker Studio has been giving us some problems and we are trying to change the code from scratch to use the physics engine built into Game Maker. The change is so that in the future we can do some cool things we have planned and so that it will not lag as much as it is supposed to be a fairly light game. If anyone does read these blog posts feel free to leave a comment bellow our posts and give input for what you want in the game.
-NEM907 A quick update on the game development really quickly. A story line has been starting to be formed and ideas are being thought about and tested out currently so plan to see another update coming soonish.
To all those who are wondering MarsGames and CaveFights is not dead. There had been a bump in developing and new skills had to be learned to continue improving the game further. On top of all of that everyone at MarsGames is in highschool and has had to work on school. A new update should be out soon that increases game performance. The current movement and physics system in the game is really messy on the back-end and is not delivering the best performance it could so it is being down so hopefully a new update will be out by the end of this month. Also, so nobody forgets this is really just a hobby for everyone at MarsGames since we can't really make a decent amount of money off of the game so other things will take priority in life such as family and schooling. But to make sure everyone knows is at MarsGames also love our fans very much. :D -NEM907
We've been a bit busy, Nathan's been working on other projects outside of CaveFights! and, me, I'm lazy and I've been working on learning the code a bit better... However, now that we're back, we're gonna be adding a few things... For example... we'll be working on making the game not look like crap.. Hooray!! Let's hope I can actually succeed in making a good-looking game.... -JackRick
So for us at MarsGames school is out for the year which means that more time can be spent working on the game {if it isn't spent playing video games}. A update is getting ready to role out in about a week or 2. I do not wish to give a an official date as this will be our largest update yet.
